Acute hazardous effects with skin contact, eye contact, ingestion or inhalation.(8)
Polyquaternium 15
Acrylamide-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate methyl chloride copolymer
Polyquaternium is a newly coined word used to emphasize the presence of quaternary ammonium in the polymer. Quaternary ammonium can cause toxic effects by ingestion. Dermal [skin] application can cause irritation and allergic reactions. (9)
Silicone oils
Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone or Dimethicone Copolyol
Silicone, much like mineral oil, coats the skins surface. A product in the UK uses dimethicone to destroy head lice. (11)

Petrolatum products
Mineral Oil (Liquidum Paraffinum), Petrolatum (petroleum jelly), Paraffin oil  or Paraffin
A by product of the petroleum industry. The FDA states: Warning ! Harmful if swallowed or inhaled. Causes irritation to skin, eyes and respiratory tract. Combustible liquid and vapor (1)

Water Based Lubes
Parabens
Ethyl,methyl,butyl, and propyl-paraben
The FDA is currently preparing to force removal of parabens. Studies have shown a link to breast cancer, allergic skin reactions and damage to sperm. (2) Parbens are used in foods as well as cosmetics and the amount in the body is what causes reactions.
Sorbitol
Ingestion of sorbitol can cause a range of gastrointestinal problems, including diarrhea, abdominal pain, and bloating. (3) with as little as 10 gm. (4) The FDAs regulation for sorbitol requires a label if its use may result in the daily ingestion of 50 grams: Excess consumption may have a laxative effect. (5)
Glycerine and Glycols
Diethylene glycol, glycyl alcohol, Propylene glycol: ,PEG compounds dihydroxypropane, methyl ethyl glycol
A penetration enhancer that helps other ingredients to be absorbed in the skin. (10) Has been identified as slightly hazardous in case of skin contact , eye contact or ingestion. (6) (7)
